Itinerary

This tour dedicated to Barolo starts from Alba and heads towards Bra, Barolo, Monforte and La Morra: the lands of Barolo. In this area of the Langhe everything refers to the Wine of the Kings and the King of Wines. Peasants started producing it two centuries ago.  Barolo is a wine that although having changed over time still retains certain typical characteristics that make it unique in the world

So, let’s go!  Jump on your Vespa and start your tour on the trail of Barolo. You will set off from Alba before reaching Bra. These are the main two cities in the Langhe and the gateways to the Langhe and Roero. The roads wind through the vineyards and the “Crus” of Barolo, namely those vines where this Piedmontese wine can be produced. Every Cru produces a Barolo with different characteristics.

Before arriving in Barolo on your Vespa you will pass the Castles of Grinzane Cavour, where you will find the Barolo Regional Wine shop and the Serralunga Wine shop.
We advise you to go on a visit to one of the local wine cellars when you are in Barolo and experience a Barolo wine tasting before returning to Alba amidst the vineyards, beautiful views and hazelnut groves with a slight taste of tannin in your mouth! When going on the Barolo discovery tour on your Vespa, you will follow the most delightful colours and perfumes of the Langhe:  you will taste the promised land of the Made in Italy food and wine enthusiasts, indeed in Piedmont!
