Gift Card – South Sardinia, Between Nuraghi and the Mediterranean Sea

Enjoy a day discovering South Sardinia by Vespa, among beaches overlooking the Mediterranean, ancient towns, coastal towers and traces of the Nuragic civilization. Starting from Cagliari, you’ll ride along the island’s southwestern coast through sea, history and Mediterranean landscapes. This route captures some of the most fascinating souls of South Sardinia: the blue of the Mediterranean, the traces of ancient civilizations and the pleasure of riding along the coast slowly, curve after curve, on a Vespa.

What you will discover:

• Maddalena Beach: a first stop by the sea along the Capoterra coast, perfect for diving straight into the Mediterranean atmosphere with sand, crystal-clear water and views over the Gulf of Angels.
• Nora: one of Sardinia’s most important archaeological sites, where you can stroll among the remains of an ancient Phoenician, Punic and Roman city right on the seafront. A unique place where history and landscape meet.
• Torre di Cala d’Ostia: a striking coastal tower built to protect this stretch of coastline from sea raids. Its position still tells the story of the island’s southern coast and its defensive past.
• Nuraghe Monte Mereu: end your tour in the heart of ancient Sardinia, visiting a nuragic complex consisting of a central tower, side structures, a village, and a nearby Giants’ grave.
