Itinerary

Discover the millennial and secular history of Turin in its squares: put on your helmet, power up your Vespa and off you go!  Your tour will leave from Piazza Vittorio Veneto, the square with the biggest porticoes in Europe and then go down to Piazza Castello

Continue in the direction of Piazza della Repubblica, where there is the biggest open air market in Europe:  another record! Here you can admire the Porte Palatine (Palatine Gates), built in the Roman era.  Then power up again and arrive at Piazza Statuto with its Frejus monument to the fallen bursting with mystery. Turn into Via Pietro Micca towards Piazza Solferino and see its splendid “Quattro stagioni” fountain. The final stages are in the heart of the city: Piazza San Carlo, the living room of Turin and Piazza Carlo Felice with the imposing, elegant Savoy facade of Porta Nuova.

Choose the Majestic Tour of Turin Square by Square to follow in the footsteps of the Romans when, under the rule of the Roman Empire the city was called Augusta Taurinorum. Continue your travels through time up to the splendours of the Savoy era.  Finally, finish your adventure in beauty with the Unification of Italy in 1861 when Turin became the first capital of Italy.
